Lou and Andy had a heartwarming, intimate wedding in the beautiful St Margaret’s Church in the historic East Sussex village of Ditchling. I really love photographing this sort of wedding, and in the same way Lou and Andy warmed to me the instant they met me, I felt the same about them. They were getting married around a month before I married my wife, so we even exchanged a few wedding ideas.
Afterwards, Louise said “I really cannot speak highly enough of Jon and his photography. We weren’t going to have an official photographer at all for our wedding since neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera. However, when I stumbled across Jon’s website and read about his more ‘natural’ approach to wedding photography, we thankfully reconsidered. Within moments of first meeting Jon we were not only bowled over by his stunning photos, but also warmed by what a thoroughly nice bloke he is! Jon understood exactly how we wanted the day captured and completely empathised with our reluctance to pose for a full-on photo shoot. On the day Jon was an absolute pleasure to have around. The guests all loved him and he managed to beautifully capture the essence of the day without us even noticing the shots being taken. Needless to say, I would highly recommend Jon to anyone wishing to have their special day captured on camera. Especially those who, like me, are usually filled with dread when asked to strike a pose for the camera!” and her friend Bonnie said “Totally didn’t even notice there was a photographer! Like a photo-taking ninja!!”
