It’s the sort of thing where you don’t want to look at the other entries because it’s all of a terribly high standard and everything is so intimidating. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained. I tentatively entered two landscapes I’d taken one October morning when the sunrise light was lovely, walking around Shoreham Harbour. To my great surprise and delight, I won two awards – one gold, the other silver.
